Prep is the first year of school and provides the foundation for your child's education  (opens in new page). It is a full-time program held in primary schools. At Palmwoods, we consider the prep year to be an integral part of our school.  Children attend Monday-Friday, generally from 8:30am-2:50pm.
Children must be 5 by 30 June in the year they enrol.  When can my child start Prep.
Palmwoods Excellence Program (PEP) As an Independent Public School we are able to offer this program to provide students who meet the criteria the opportunity to reach their full potential in The Arts.
To maintain the highest standards possible numbers are limited in these programs, so students will need to be selected to participate.  For Dance and Drama students in Yrs 3-6 and Expression of Interest form will need to be submitted and students will then undergo auditions. For more information read the PEP Brochure on this website.
