4-6 Swimming Carnival

Years 4 - 6 Wednesday 9 December 9am -2:30pm

COST Pool entry cost for all students Year 4—6 is $3.00.

Children are to bring $3.00 to the school office before Friday 4 December with the Permission note.

Admission cost for Parents/Spectators is $2 per person (for Insurance purposes)

Please note the Pool Canteen will be open.

Students not swimming will need to provide a note giving a reason and will stay at school in another room.

Children report to their classroom as normal on this day

to be marked off on the rolls. They will then walk to the

pool in their class group ready to commence the

Swimming Carnival.

Children will need togs, bathing cap, towel, hat,

Rashie/T-shirt, sunscreen and water.

They are to commence the day in House colours and

school shoes but may wear thongs or scuffs at the pool.

Children are to bring a packed lunch or money for the

Pool Canteen which will be open all day.

The program for the day is as follows…… Timetable:

8.45am Depart school

9.15am Freestyle 50m - Championship

9.50am Freestyle 25m - Participation

10.10am Breaststroke 25m - Championship

11040am Backstroke 25m - Championship

11.30am Butterfly 25m - Championship

12.00pm Lunch

12.15pm Free Swim

12.30pm 5 min House Lap Swim- Participation

12.45pm Individual Medley 100m - Championship

1.10pm Freestyle Relays

2.20pm Presentations – Clean Up – Return to School
