Country Fair Success

One of the great things about being a part of Palmwoods State School is the obvious pride our students, staff and parents have in our school. This was particularly evident on Saturday 24 May at our Annual Country Fair.

What a fantastic day it was. The weather was perfect, there was lots to see and do for everyone. The children loved the new ride (Hurricane), and the petting farm was a big favourite. We would like to thank all the parents who gave up their time not only on the day but for many weeks leading up to the fair to organise the stalls for our "Side show alley", and to all those parents who helped run the stall on the day. A big thank you to all the P&C parents who worked tirelessly all day Saturday, then came back again Sunday to clean up. Also a thankyou to all the school staff who helped out. It is great to see the community spirit alive and well at Palmwoods State School. Without your support the fair would not be the success it has become.
