Palmwoods State School students wear a school uniform comprised of our school colours: maroon and navy. Wearing a uniform conveys a sense of self-pride in students and their school. It fosters a sense of belonging and promotes the safety of students through easy identification. It is expected that students wear a full school uniform every day, and represent their school, families and selves to the best of their abilities.
Uniforms can be purchased directly from the uniform shop, located up the stairs after exiting the school reception, first door on the right. They can also be paid for using Flexischools. For information about Flexischools, use the link in the Related links section.
Hours and procedures
The uniform shop is open Friday mornings 8am-9am. Uniforms ordered via FlexiSchools will be delivered to your child’s classroom or you can choose to collect from the Uniform Shop.
Sporting house colours
Every Thursday and for sporting events, students can choose to wear a sports shirt with their shorts/skorts. Our house colours are as follows:
· Landsborough (red)
· Bendixen (green)
· Niklin (royal blue)
Bags and Labels
The Palmwoods P&C have partnered with Harlequin Bags and Oz Labels for a discounted rate on their products and when buying these products, you are also supporting the school, as a percentage of the profits are returned to the school.
See links for further information.
Volunteers
Our uniform shop is operated by the P&C Association, and all profits go directly back to the school. Currently the uniform shop is looking for a volunteer to take on the position of convenor. We are committed to ensuring all students have the necessary uniform items in a timely manner.
Volunteers are always needed to help in the uniform shop. If you can help for a couple of hours, please call the P&C on 54532427 or email pcops@palmwoodskidsclub.com.au
