Ensure you have read the Parent checklist (PDF, 479KB) so that your child starts the year with their device ready to go.
Concept development and charter
In 2017, we trialled 4 BYO iPad classes across Year 2 and Year 5 at Palmwoods SS. Due to the successful progress of our initiative, and demand from our community, we are expanding to BYO iPad in all Year 1 - 6 classes from 2018.
From 2018, every student in Grades 1 - 6 at Palmwoods SS has the opportunity to bring their own iPad to school to support them with their learning. Specific models that are supported can be found in our Supported device requirements (PDF, 303KB) document. Further information can be found in the iPad program charter (PDF, 929KB) including the Student ICT use agreement (PDF, 593KB).
